Dax and its surroundings
Dax is a charming town in the Landes, renowned for its gentle way of life and the benefits of the waters of its various rivers. During your stay in our apart’hotel near Lake Christus, at the gates of Dax, we recommend that you visit the ALAT and helicopter museum, go to the heart of the city to discover the Fontaine Chaude, observe the ramparts relaying the history of Dax, but also go to the famous white and yellow arenas. Don’t miss the surrounding villages during a walk or bike ride among the pines: Saint-Paul-Lès-Dax, Herm, Gourbera, Mées, etc.
Lake Christus
The Lake of Christus is an artificial lake, where locals and visitors can meet, relax, play sports, and walk. This peaceful little corner of greenery is located 30 meters from our quiet aparthotel. You can take advantage of it to take a pleasant walk around the Lake of Christus, with a total length of 2.5 km for a duration of between 30 minutes and an hour. On your way, you will come across picnic areas, benches, a bowling alley, a canoeing-kayaking site, tennis courts, sports facilities and many others. Swimming is prohibited in the Lake of Christus.
